Not all of us get to be (or want to be) map reviewers, but it would be nice if the rest of us could suggest maps to be featured. I find a great many good maps all the time, and it's no guarantee that the reviewers are seeing them as well. There's a lot of hidden gems on NUMA. I wanted to make this thread so us lay people can make suggestions about good maps that we'd like to see featured.

Let's have some ground rules laid down to keep this semi-official.
1. Only post one map to be featured at a time.This is reduce spam and increase quality of maps suggested.
2. Don't suggest your own maps. This is about sharing the love, not hogging it.
3. Write a blurb about why you think the map you're suggesting is feature worthy. Remember what Lord Polonius said though, "Brevity is the soul of wit."


Just because you're posting a map in here doesn't mean it will get featured, nor does it even mean the reviewers will ever know of your suggestion. So don't be discouraged if your suggested map never receives the credit you think it deserves. But please, suggest great maps anyway, and just maybe it will be featured!

I'll start us off with a suggestion. Diamonds From Sierra Leone, by Oragami_Alligator. I really liked this map mostly because of the tileset. It's quite possibly one of the best looking maps I've ever seen, and the use of open space is brilliant.

I loved making that map and I'm glad you really liked it.. I'd suggest a map to be featured but alas, I'm a reviewer myself so it'd be kind of backwards for me to do so.

Trust me though, I'll be scouring this thread in the future if it starts to pick up more posts. If enough people keep posting it might even increase the Featured Map queue and increase the time which maps are featured and that may get to the point where we're getting as many featured maps a day as bitesized was getting.

Of course this is speculation, but it could happen.

I'll definitely be keeping an eye on this thread. As for the maps so far, i don't really enjoy them, so I won't be reviewing them. But, they do seem pretty good quality, so someone else might.

-Not a bigger banjo fan than DW40. Seriously.

I didn't really like skyline's that much, but PALEMOON's map is amazing. I agree notkitt, the laser placement is phenominal. Dibs on reviewing it.

I had a great deal of fun while playing this. I love how the action always keeps you moving. The design and placement in the map is simple enough to keep you interested.

Also, I do think this could be pinned.

If there are two maps that should never be featured it is AfternoonDragonStep04 and The Crazy Miner.

I'm pretty sure none of his maps have been featured, and I have to say he seems to be the best racemaker I've ever seen, in my limited time here. This one has a great level of difficulty, never too hard and forgiving for beginners, and the up/down mechanic is something fresh that I've yet to see elsewhere. Definitely feature-worthy.

This map is as far as my opinion goes, FLAWLESS. Fantastic object placement all around, drone paths, gausses, the thwumps, they are all placed to make the map exponentially more fun. The Gold Placement is tricky but not aggrivating. And may I even state the absolute beauty of the tileset itself? I hope one of the reviewers picks this up.





P.S.: OH YEA AND ALL OF MY MAPS ARE AWESOME SO THEY SHOULD BE FEATURED!!

@epigone :: It would be great if you could update the first post with a list of the maps, whether or not they have been reviewed, and if so, by whom. It would help a lot.
